Back in May, I approached Faye about the possibility of her and Dan bringing the infamous Box that Rocks to a surprise party I was thinking of organising. I knew it was a big ask, as we’re a couple of hours away.

But in true Hoodoo fashion, within minutes I received a resounding YES!

My boyfriend and I are avid listeners to The Mojo Show on a Friday night, and already felt that Dan and Faye were more than just great radio hosts — they felt like friends, even though we’d only met briefly at a festival earlier in the summer.

Planning and making sure the surprise went off without a hitch was super easy, thanks to lots of friendly chats between Faye and me.

Anyway, last Sunday was the day — and to say it was a huge success is an understatement! There were tears of joy, an incredible playlist, and we even got to try our hand at DJing, along with other special touches. Everyone at our party (which, I should add, was in a field!) has been talking all week about how much fun it was. Oh, and the sound system was marvellous too!

A huge thanks from all of us — I can’t recommend The Box that Rocks highly enough. Let’s hope we can find many more excuses to party with Dan and Faye!

A fabulous radio station I listen in whenever I can. Lovely people and have used hoodoo for various gigs at wyllotts theatre and fun day at potters bar and they have always put on a great show I have no hesitation on any one booking this fab radio station and thoroughly recommend them  

John Powell - Shades of Midnight

 The wonderful Hoodoo Radio Mojo Show performed mighty sets of amazing body moving tunes both new and old which transformed the Fleur Fest both musically and culturally. Revellers we're treated to unique songs from soul rock to blues. Fine Dj sets from Dan And Faye were undertaken with care and precision creating the perfect link between sets. Brilliant  A must for all music lovers!
