Hoodoo Radio will be setting up our horsebox at the wonderful Sawbridgeworth May Fayre.
We will be playing music between the acts and broadcasting live on Hoodoo Radio.

The Sawbridgeworth May Fayre has been running for over 600 years, and we are so happy to be returning in 2025! We can't wait!
The May Fayre will be bigger and better than ever with lots of great entertainment for all the family. Highlights include fair game favourites such as hoopla and hook-a-duck, funfair rides, tombola, craft stalls, donkey rides, food and drink stalls, a live music stage.... and so much more! All are welcome and entrance is free!

Hoodoo Radio and our crew of DJ's is taking the party to the streets! Our iconic Horsebox DJ Booth will roll through town as part of the procession, filling the air with an electrifying mix of tunes. Expect a lively atmosphere as we bring the beats, blending classic hits and crowd favourites with a touch of Hoodoo magic. Whether you're dancing along the route or soaking in the festive vibes, our mobile music station will keep the energy high and the spirits even higher. Join us as we turn the streets into a moving celebration—Hoodoo style!
The Carnival Parade departs from South Mill Arts (CM23 3JG) at 11.15am, processes through South Street, Potter Street, Market Square, North Street and Northgate End, finishing on Link Road at approximately 12.20pm.
The Carnival Fun Day on Sworders Field (CM23 2EL) is from 12pm – 5pm; visit over 100 stalls at the Fun Day including a bar as well as delicious food from around the world. Be sure to visit The Carnival Cruise, a special array of decorated working and pleasure boats, moored along the river between the Registry Office (CM23 2DL) and Station Road.
The whole event promises to be a fantastic experience for all the family.
This year's Carnival Parade and Fun Day is proudly supported by the Bishop's Stortford BID. Bishop’s Stortford Business Improvement District aims to raise the profile of the town centre as a great retail, tourist and business destination and improve the experience of the town centre for those who visit, live and work in the town. Grove Cottage has been a lifeline for people with learning disabilities and additional needs for almost 60 years. To ensure this can continue, they are rebuilding Grove Cottage. Thanks to the wonderful support of our community, Grove Cottage have made great progress. Now they need you to help them raise the final funds to create a safe, welcoming environment for our community, for many years to come.

Hoodoo Radio helped host the Bish Bash "Sounds Like Teen Spirit" event. A showcase of local young talent. We saw bands such as Apollo, Remedy and Fifth Flaw, and artists India Purton and Ronnie Scott & Archie Eastlake.
Hoodoo Radio broadcast the entire event live, with an hour of the Mojo Show, all the live acts and some groovy tunes in between acts.
The Mojo Show on Hoodoo Radio hosted a special live broadcast to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of The Sawbridgeworth Antiques and Interior Centre. Nestled among a treasure trove of bizarre and fascinating artefacts, we brought our listeners a vibrant on-air journey through the wonders of the centre.
From quirky curiosities to timeless antiques, the atmosphere was alive with stories waiting to be uncovered. We also had the pleasure of interviewing the owner, Daniel Potter, who shared insights into the unique charm and community spirit that has defined the Centre’s success.
50's/60's music extravaganza!
Our wonderful Hoodoo Radio 'Rock n Roll' DJ's Lisa and George played some fantastic Rock 'n' Roll music to a packed out audience and helped host a nostalgic evening of great live music from The Shades of Midnight, The Foundations and Lizzie Allsop.
Our Mobile DJ Booth 'The Box that Rocks' Launch night was a huge success! Broadcasting live throughout the night, with various Hoodoo DJ's performing.
